A naturally sustainable form of housing

A Naturally Sustainable Form of Housing

There are many global challenges facing our planet, and climate change is among the greatest. Over the coming years, the construction industry faces ambitious targets to help meet the Government's net zero carbon housing ambitions.

We know our specialist form of retirement housing is highly sustainable, it is hard to think of a form of housing development that could be more so. But that does not mean we cannot do more with our product, and with how we deliver and manage it, to work towards the Government's ambition.

Our Impact on Society

Our impact on society in general, and on the local communities where we build, matters to us just as much, as do our relationships with our Customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants, and Colleagues. We take great pride in what we have achieved over the years, and remain committed to making a positive difference for all our stakeholders.

Our ESG Committee

Our ESG Committee was formed in Spring 2022 and has already made real progress: identifying the strands of ESG work most important to our business, adopting an ESG Strategy, capturing what we already do well and the processes we use to monitor performance, and setting key performance indicators where we can improve.

Futureproofing our product

Futureproofing Our Product

Sustainability initiatives give us the opportunity to ensure our specialist retirement housing is futureproofed, safe, and secure for our Residents. By developing our ESG responsibilities, we can help drive the success of our Company, inspire our Colleagues, improve the lives of our Residents, and give back to the communities where we live and work.

Our ESG Report

Our latest report sets out our ESG priorities, how they align with our corporate strategy, and the progress we made during the 2024/2025 financial year.
