Retirement Apartment Rental Pricing

We believe in being completely open about costs, so you always know exactly what you are paying and what is included before you commit. This page explains how rental pricing works and what to budget for, so you can decide whether renting is right for you.

How Much Does It Cost to Rent?

There is no single figure, as the rent depends on the development you choose, the apartment itself, and where in the country you are looking. Your Sales Executive will talk you through the rent for your chosen apartment, and exactly what it includes, before you make any decision, with no surprises along the way.

What to Budget For

As with renting anywhere, you will need to budget for your own everyday living costs on top of your rent. These typically include your Council Tax, the electricity you use in your own apartment, your TV licence (free for those over 75, though this has to be applied for), and your own contents insurance. Because of the safety and security of our buildings, contents insurance premiums are often lower than those for a traditional property.

No Exit Fees

Churchill abolished exit fees, sometimes called event fees, in summer 2025, so there are none to pay when the time comes to move on. It is all part of our commitment to keeping the process straightforward and free of hidden costs.

Getting a Personalised Figure

The clearest way to understand what renting would cost you is to talk to us about the development you are interested in. We will explain the rent, what it covers, and what you would pay separately, so you have a complete picture. To find out more about how renting works, see our guide.
