We recently unveiled a brand-new garden shed at Gilbert Lodge in Beeston, further enhancing the Lodge’s beautiful landscaping and providing a dedicated space for Owners to enjoy their passion for gardening.
The garden shed donation comes after two of Gilbert Lodge’s green-fingered gardeners, Owners Keith and Barry, lovingly tended the gardens by planting an array of colourful flowers for everyone to enjoy. The addition of the new shed now means there is a proper place for them to store tools and materials, making it easier than ever for Keith, Barry, and their fellow Owners to continue their gardening projects.
Beyond its practical benefits, the shed offers an opportunity for Owners to come together, pick up a new hobby, or simply enjoy the shared outdoor space. Whether it’s lending a hand, learning new skills, or connecting over a shared love of nature, the new shed will provide lasting benefits for the community at Gilbert Lodge.
David Meachem, Divisional Sales and Marketing Director for Churchill Living Central comments: “It is lovely to see our Owners taking pride in their garden and enjoying time outside. The new shed is a wonderful example of how our developments not only allow Owners to live comfortably but encourages them to foster friendships and embrace community spirit.”
Gilbert lodge itself comprises 53 self-contained one- and two-bedroom apartments, featuring colour co-ordinated kitchens, secure camera entry systems, landscaped gardens and walk out balconies on selected apartments. There is also an exclusive Owners’ Lounge complete with a coffee bar and Wi-Fi so Owners can socialise, as well as a full-time Lodge Manager and 24-hour Careline support system for extra peace of mind.
Nestled in the vibrant town of Beeston, Owners will have everything they need on their doorstep, with public transport links available nearby. A bustling pedestrian high street is less than 2 minutes away from the development, boasting a Co-op, local pharmacy, bank, a variety of cafés and restaurants and a leisure centre that frequently hosts a programme of activities. Also, less than a fifteen-minute drive away is Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, an architectural wonder and attraction that is lovely to visit all year round for those interested in staying active and taking in the history of the town.
