We've given a warm welcome to our first new Owners at Dreton Lodge in Drayton, who are settling in well to the safe and friendly community of over 60s, enjoying all the benefits of freedom and independence in their new apartments.
John and Sheila were among the very first to move in, and John has this to say about life in their new apartment: “We’ve enjoyed getting to know our new neighbours and getting involved in the social events which our Lodge Manager Debbie organises in the Owners’ Lounge. It’s a lovely comfortable space to socialise, but there’s no pressure for anyone to join in unless they want to, and we all have busy lives outside of the Lodge. We’re looking forward to meeting lots more new people as the apartments continue to fill up over the coming months. We’ll be sure to give them a warm welcome!”
Iris was also among the first to move in, and is enjoying the sense of community. She says: ““I enjoy knitting and all sorts of other crafting activities, and I’m keen to get a regular ‘knit and natter’ or ‘crafty’ group together here at Dreton Lodge once we get a few more people in who would like to join in. If anyone likes the sound of this, why not come and visit us and see for yourself what a new life at Dreton Lodge might have to offer!”
As one of the newest Owners to move in, Maretta is an active and enthusiastic member of the group, and says: “The best thing about Dreton Lodge is the location, as it’s just a two minute walk away from my local church where I spend a lot of time helping out with various activities and social groups. Churchill’s downsizing advisers and our Sales Executive Hilary were such a great help with the move, I couldn’t have done it without them!”
