The Churchill Group is celebrating having raised over £57,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the charity’s “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” campaign 2021.
Churchill recently invited local school children to its Trewin Lodge retirement development in Yate to help bury a time capsule on site. Pupils from Abbotswood Primary School were joined by special guest Leonard Trewin, a 97-year-old D-Day veteran from Yate who inspired the name of the Lodge.
Avonbank Lodge in Newbury has its very own ‘Lady Marmalade’ in apartment Owner Noeline Rycroft, whose homemade preserves have raised an impressive total of £500 for various charities since she moved to the Lodge.
Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington has received a welcome donation from Churchill in memory of Colleague Geoff Southwell, a popular member of our Plant Services team who we sadly lost last year after a brave battle with cancer.
